We charge from just £49.00 for an EPC assessment. This incudes the survey, assessment, pre-survey information, advice and guidance on improving the EPC and information that can be passed to your prospective purchasers or tenants.
The free “pre-survey” information provides invaluable information on things that may be able to be done to improve the EPC rating and the energy efficiency of the property. This is imperative to ensure a good rating and can make the difference between the desirable “C” rating and a “D” for many properties.
Remember; the EPC can effect the mortgage or loan rate against a property making it potentially more attractive to purchasers.
The new revised Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards have now been confirmed as being due for introduction in 2028. What this means quite simply is that if the property does not achieve a “C” rating you are unable to rent the property without either carrying out improvements or applying for an exemption.
Secondly, we provide information about Grants and scheme that may be available for energy efficiency improvements that you, a potential buyer or your tenants may be able to apply for to make the property warmer and more comfortable as well as significantly reducing it’s fuel bills. Improved energy efficiency will also help to reduce carbon emissions so it helps the environment as well.

What can effect the cost of the EPC?
The actual “size” of the property may not actually take us more time to assess and as such attract no additional cost to the basic cost of £49.00 What can take additional time is if their are extensions or alternative building types, such as a room in the roof or lots of different types of windows. We are extremely competitive and if you are flexible as to when you want the survey carried out this too can ensure we offer the very best prioce available. What we offer is a considerable amount of “Free” information and guidance (if this is of interest)! For example, if you are considering renting the property we can help you achieve the new required standard “C” rating. Quite often, based on over 30 years experience we can tell you the “little things” that can make the difference.
